The Battlefield
Every day we wake up, we walk through battles in our lives. Some big, some small, but we still have things that we face every day. The great thing is that God has given us example after example all through His Word that we can hold close. Examples that add strength to our armor if we let it.
In the Book of Judges, God called a poor man by the name of Gideon. Not because he was strong or courageous, but because he saw how he could use him. Gideon was sent by God to go into battle, not with a large army, but one that was largely outnumbered. Gideon didn’t have to fight the battle, he Just had to show up with what God gave him. God fought the battle, Gideon just had to go through the battlefield.
Joshua went against a walled city of Jericho in the first battle fought by the Israelites, but God fought the battle, won it and Joshua and the Israelites just had to go through the battlefield.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had to go through the fiery furnace but he fourth was already there.
So, remember as you go through your day facing whatever it is you face, we serve the same God today that has won every battle. Keep your eyes on the Heavenly Father, give Him those battles and let Him lead us through the battlefield.
God Bless,
Stixx
