Relationship with THE WORD

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

John 1:1 NKJV

John makes his point very clear that Jesus is the living word of God. So, if we say that we are in a relationship with Jesus Christ, then we will also be full of the word of God if we are not in the word of God, our relationship is lacking with our Lord Jesus Christ , it is very important that we know the scriptures so we can know exactly who Jesus.

“Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”

I Peter 2:1-3 NKJV

When we are saved, we are no longer born of the flesh, but we are born of the spirit. This is the new birth being born-again, and as born-again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We should desire for the word of God, like a newborn, baby desires, the pure milk.

Peter says, lay aside, forfeit the things of your past forfeit the desires of the old man.

Do you desire the word of God?

Have you been born again?

Do you have a relationship with Jesus Christ?

Remember, newborn babies don’t go a day without milk because they need to grow.
