No Plan B-No “But What Ifs”

Many times, when we go before God with a request in prayer, we bring that request and then follow it up with, “but if it’s not your will”, which is like saying here’s a Plan B. Sometimes while we’re bringing a request or praying for a healing for someone, in the back of our minds we are thinking, “But wat if it doesn’t happen.” I’ve done both, we all have. The thing is, we don’t have to. In the 18th chapter of Matthew, Jesus talks about becoming as a child, having pure faith. As a parent if you tell your child if they do this or that, they’ll get a big bowl of ice cream, they’ll do the job or task and expect to get that ice cream because that’s what you said and they believe it. 77 times in the Bible it speaks of ask and receive: Mark 11:24, Matthew 7:7, James 4:3 over and over.
So whatever your need is today, as said in Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain. Mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
And remember, God doesn’t need a Plan B or any help from us for that matter. He is just looking for his children to bring their battles and petitions to him with childlike faith and He’ll take care of the rest.
Have a Blessed Day
