Merry Christmas

Glory to God in the Highest, and on earth, peace, good will towards men.

Luke 2:14

A Savior…Christ the Lord…is born!

Today we celebrate what marks the beginning of our deliverance from sin. It is the reason He came. Joyful singing, gifts and time with family is a wonderful way to celebrate at Jesus’ birthday party. We live in Satan’s domain, an ungodly world, death, fear and even our own transgressions surround us. But today we can celebrate, our deliverance has come! His birth, life, death and resurrection was on purpose, for us, because He loves us.

So go with haste, as the shepherds did that day, find Jesus! Tell the world! The shepherds saw and returned, “glorifying and praising God.” The Wise Men sought Him too…we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him…Matthew 2:2

It is a day of celebration, not because of the “worldly” gifts we will receive or an imaginary character full of kindness but because we have the opportunity to receive the greatest gift of all…Jesus!

And the angel said unto them, Fear not for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city a David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

So have yourself, a very Merry Christmas!
