Living Water

Have you ever been so thirsty that you said your mouth was full of cotton? It was then that a good cold drink tasted so good. The bad thing is, that soon you are tasting cotton again. We need water to live. Water to grow. Jesus said if you drink water from a well on earth you are going to thirst again. (John 4:13)

It is the next verse that I like. But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life (Joh. 4:14). That means never die. Wouldn’t that be great? To live forever?

That is what God has promised us. He is building us a place in Heaven where we can swell with him forever. Jesus said in verse 10 of that same chapter, if you knew the gift of God… He calls the living water a gift. I love to get gifts. He gives it freely to every man and woman and child. Get yours today. Come one come all! There is a never-ending supply.

Get filled with this water and let it spill out on someone else today!
