Jesus is Victory

Victory in Jesus has always been one of my favorite songs. I love the thought of being victorious. I never have liked to lose. I guess that is part of why I love being on team Jesus. He never loses. The Bible says in Romans 8:37, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
The definition of victory is to defeat an enemy. John 5:4 says, For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, even our faith. Satan doesn’t have a chance. He was defeated before he ever started. The only way he can win is if we let him. We have authority over him through the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus.
Go into this day knowing how the story ends. I have looked at the back of the book and we win! There is a crown waiting for those who win and that sounds good to me. So, get out there and fight. Man up and show the devil who is boss. You have power in the name of Jesus and you will have the victory!
