Jesus is New Life

I have always loved Spring. Things that seemed dead begin to show signs of new life. Dark colors begin to fade into colors of green, yellow and red. You can smell the sweet aroma of life in the air as the sun begins to warm the earth. Just as the earth changes, so do the lives of those who have asked Jesus into their hearts. As the SON begins to warm them, they begin to grow. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We need to put away our old ways. Sometimes we even have to put away our old friends. The places we go become new. As much as you can see the change from Winter to Spring, so should the world be able to see the change in us. This change is a big part of our testimony. Those around us should want what they see that we have: Joy, peace, love, good things, new things.

So today, dig deeper in Christ. The old things are gone and you will have NEW LIFE!
