Jesus is King

King- a male sovereign or monarch; a man who holds a life tenure, and usually by hereditary right, the chief authority over a country or people

...most important member of the royal family of his country, who is considered to be head of state of that country

As humble Royalty, our sovereign King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus, came and lived his short, but powerful sojourn on Earth, as a shepherd King. No sign evident to the eye, of opulence or stature, to give away his Sovereign Lording “title” when He walked among us. No riches, no comforts, no special robes...in the end a crown of thorns! But His excellent spirit was that of an uncommon man, a king who experienced dusty feet, tiredness in well doing, and the call of the kingdom-for humanity to be saved.

Resurrected from death, He is alive and at the right hand of the Father-ruling and reigning over those whom have become His! King of kings and Lord Divine! Majesty on high, to You be our praise, today and forever more.

Rev. 17:14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of Kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.

1 Tim.6:13-15 I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which he will display at the proper time— he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
