I Can Face Tomorrow...

Because when trials come, God is my refuge

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:2

Because God is always with me

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Because nothing can separate me from His love

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Because I find joy in God’s presence

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11

Because God will fill me with joy and peace

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Because God will strengthen me

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

I can face tomorrow because God’s promises give me joy, strength, wisdom, and peace for whatever comes my way. When I think on facing tomorrow, I cling to the Word and find joy in knowing that every promise in the Book is mine.
