He Said It I Believe It

I have prayed a lot about healing lately.  I must say, I felt my faith had been tested.  I didn’t understand why a miracle had not happened.  I felt my faith was strong, so what was the problem?  I have seen miracles and have even experienced them in my own life.  I had prayed and I had fasted.  I had told God all the things he had promised, as if he didn’t know!  I told him that he said, “By y stripes you were healed.”  That’s wheni think he must have had enough of my interference, and he smacked me right up beside my thick head.  He reminded me that he said in Mark 16 verse 18, “You shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”  That is when I realized that every healing is not a miracle.  Do miracles happen? Yes, yes, yes!

I looked up the definition of the word recover.  It means to return to a normal state of health.  There sometimes must be an action related to healing.  The blind man had to go to the pool to wash to receive his healings.  The healing I was praying, yes it came.  Not in the way I had planned but all in God’s time! It happened! That’s what matters.
