Freedom in the Unknown

Not knowing can a lot of times create a lot of anxiety in life. A good friend moving and leaving you, now knowing what’s coming next, walking in the dark, or anything else that you walk into not knowing what’s going to happen sends anxiety through our bodies. Some of us handle it better than others. But no matter who you are, there are situations when we make life decisions that alter our current state of life where we don’t know what will come of it that causes the greatest deal of stress for us. The world itself puts us into a state where we feel like we have to have it all figured out and in order but the reality is, it is not that way at all. The Bible tells us that Christ came so we may live in peace and that he has overcome everything that world can throw at us.
John 16:33I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
Freedom is knowing that even if we don’t know what is next for us, God does. We may live a season or two in our lives, but God will certainly have his hand over us. Live in Freedom, not of knowing what’s next, but that whatever is next, God is in control of it!
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Be Blessed,
Pastor Brandon
