Declaring the Word
As a father, I teach my children that the power of the tongue can either build or destroy. What we say carries with it life or death. I want them to learn this important concept of life, so they know provision is just on the other side of obedience. If we are in need, we are to declare the Word of God over our lives. We are blessed, we are highly favored, we are sons and daughters don’t ever lose sight of that.
Joshua 1:8 says, This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
If you follow God’s Word you will be prosperous and have good success. Ephesians 1 states that Jesus has blessed us with every spiritual blessing because we are adopted by Jesus to Himself.
Ephesians 1:3-6
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved.
So, we are adopted into Him so we are to pray according to His will. My favorite scripture is:
1 John 5: 14
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Declare The Word over you, declare the word over your family, and walk in the Spiritual authority that Jesus Christ has placed in you. The will of the Father is the purpose that He placed in you, is to be made complete and nothing can stop what God has purposed.
