Can't Please Everyone

As a coach, I have found that it is very hard to please everyone. Whether it is decisions I make on the field or who I decide to put in the game, people will always second guess me or think they know better. I am constantly reminding myself that even Jesus, when he came to earth did not please everyone.

And there was a lot of discussion about him among the crowds. Some were saying, “He’s a good man,” others were saying, “No on the contrary, He’s deceiving he people.” John 7:12

As Christians, we are not going to please everyone we are around. We aren’t supposed to please everyone just Jesus. Jesus summed up how we are to live life every day like this: For I have come from heaven, not to do My will, but the will of Him who sent me. John 6:38

If we can live life daily by asking ourselves 3 questions, I believe we will live a happier and more fulfilling life.

1. Is my life pleasing to God?

2. Is what I am doing in the best interest of others?

3. Is what I am doing out of love?

Think and act on these things and may God bless you!
