Can Jesus Come Too?

Galatians 2:2” I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.”

Ephesians 3:17 “That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love.”

It’s quite a profound thought that Jesus lives in our hearts, the King of Glory has taken residence in His children. I wonder, as temples of The Holy Spirit, where are we taking Jesus? Where are our feet taking us, is He welcome too? What are our mouths saying? Will it bring Him glory? In the heat of the moment, harsh words spoken to spouses or children, can Jesus come too? When temped with technology to watch something that doesn’t glorify God, can Jesus watch too? Maybe going to a place a believer shouldn’t be, can Jesus come?

What if every word spoken, everything we viewed, everywhere we went was in right perspective. Jesus is within us. He is present for every choice and the question I ask is it where would He want to go? It is what He would watch? Is it what He would say? We no longer live for self or to gratify our desire, we were crucified with Christ and through His death received life.

So, we now live, to bring Him glory and Honor. Next time you speak, view or go somewhere simply as the question… “Can Jesus come too?”
