Enter into His gates with thanksgiving. Psalm 100:4
One thing that really is a branded truth in me is I begin each day with “thanks” to God. In Jewish tradition, I’ve read, the first thought we are guided to have upon waking is Modeh/dah Ani which means I am grateful. In the morning, before other thoughts attack us, is a powerful time to pause and give thanks.
The opposite of the attitude of gratitude is the entitled attitude. The entitled attitude is feeling the world owes you something. I’ve decided in my life to live a life of thankfulness.
I will bless or give thanks to the Lord at all times. His praise will always be on my lips. Psalm 84:1
