Walk in Peace Today Knowing God is in Control

Today:

Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Please read this slow as Pastor Sam always says. Remember everything you do pray about it first know God is with you working for you.

Key – Jesus never did anything independent of the Father.

…but in everything…

After arriving in Wyoming the other day on our mission trip, we needed to go to the airport in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. While traveling through the mountain passes and Teton mountain range we did not see one animal, that was a hard one for me to take. I wanted to see an animal…a deer, an elk, a bear or a moose…but none.

Well, on our way back the thoughts came again, it would be great to see some animals, anything. But this time I did something real unique…I prayed. You know what? God did at the next curve. I got to see a number of animals!

Be anxious for nothing but in EVERYTHING by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6

But in everything…pray! We all need to be reminded that God is waiting daily for us to draw near to Him and call upon Him as our Father. James 4:8
