When Life Feels Out of Control

Life seems to be completely out of control right now. I could use about five extra hours every day to just feel like I am back in control. The other day I was bold enough to say God I just cannot handle one more thing on my plate. The next thing I know the phone rings and something else was added to my plate. I sat in frustration and just said God we just had this conversation about life unraveling. I felt like I could not breathe just thinking how in the world I was going to make it to Friday. I sat completely quiet and the Holy Spirit revealed to me that I could not make it to Friday but I was comforted by knowing God was walking with me.

It kept coming to mind, Kendra you cannot do it yourself but you can do ALL things with God. Many people know the verse that continued to come to mind, Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. I decided to read Philippians 4 and focused on verse 13. I found in my Life in the Spirit Study Bible, the phrase “which strengtheneth me” is the Greek word endunamounti, and it means “who empowers me”. I began thanking the Lord for the reminder that I can do all things when I am in His Will because he is my enabling power. I encourage you when life seems to be spinning out of control find
