God is Love

First of all, God’s love is unconditional. This means that He puts no requirement on us in order to receive His love. There isn’t anything we can do that affects his love for us. He loves us simply because we exist, as His creation (Romans 8:38,39). The words Jesus spoke in John 3:16 verify this magnificent truth.

THINK ABOUT IT FOR A MOMENT

EXAMPLE: When we get to know someone personally, then we are able to speak of their nature and character. In other words, how we would expect them to respond or react in a given situation and what they know and believe about life. Over the course of time we then can define their integrity.

So it is with our Father God. He reveals His nature and character to us by His written Word and through His Holy Spirit, causing us to know that every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift if from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow (James 1:17).

We also see Father’s nature and character mirrored in His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ who is the radiance of Father’s glory and the exact representation of His nature (Hebrews 1:2). Knowing He is the same, yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Take this to the bank of your heart and never, never, never let the enemy tempt you with any contrary thoughts. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

God is Love! Bro. Shib says so.
