React or Response

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not be perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.” I John 4:18-19
The Lord opened my eyes to these two words; react and response. For so long I would react out of fear and stress. I did not like that about me and I was not being a good representative for Christ.
As I began to pray about this and ask God to show me what to do and how I can change this about me, He showed me at a Bible Study I went to and the teacher spoke on React and Response. She gave examples for each word. I realized I was reacting out of fear, anger and stress. Now I have changed my course and respond in Christ’s love and His peace has anchors me to quiet the storm.
Thank you sweet Jesus.
