In the Thicket?

This world, O Lord, it is indeed a marvel of Your doing; yet my soul feels the literal gravity and it's pull- not towards You...everything but! I am here to say on this very day that my longing is for You, Sweet Lord, thou I find it difficult to remain in the peace only found in You. Am I in the scrub, or high grass? Can You see me waving?...You know me intimately, this I know well. Maybe it is the feel of the season... may I say :" You have taken us through faithfully, and Your love has been our mainstay." And I receive Your bounty of good for me and mine. I lift and magnify the Lord of Lords, for precious is My King! And I thank you for even the worst day with You; for there I was in Your keeping. Have you heard me say, again, how much I love You! I come short, but intense is my gratitude for all you have done and forgiven me for. Your Presence is taking hold as I speak and jot...and clarity is before me. Thank you!... You are a quick responder at the scene, and a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, and director of my steps...and the shadow of Your wing I seek!

Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
