Let Freedom Ring

What does it mean to be free? Some people say there is nothing in life that is free. In America, we thank the men and women who gave their life so that we might have freedom. Freedom to worship God. Freedom to gather and thank God for what He has given to us. He gave His Son, His only Son, so that we might live, and have life more abundantly.

A friend of mine made a wonderful statement to me this week that I have thought of many times. If I am alive, I want to live. I want to sing until I have no voice. When my voice is gone, my mind will shout His praise. I’ll sing victory’s song as long as I have breath in my body, and when my breath is gone, I will be singing a new song in the presence of the One who gave me freedom from sin.
