Consider Him

Lord, I keep running thru my head the many wonderful things You avail to us, for making decisions on a regular basis concerning our daily lives. Like a compass, You give us the "sense" of right and wrong, be that our choice of words, or the direction of our steps. You protect us, even in our innocence, from bad moves or entanglements. And when we have ended up in the thick of a mess, by the hand, You guide and help us back unto the road of rightness. It is mostly Your love and care and acceptance, that turns our shamed countenance back to You, our Closest Friend...You didn't ask what I did; You paid my ransom entirely! No greater love, truly, have I known. Our Heavenly Father sent His Best and Only, the Son of His Love, to clean the slate, wipe the debt, and open the way to everlasting salvation! Your abiding Presence gives me a securing hope upon hope, of Whom I believe and cling to...that is Jesus Christ and His anointing, the Lamb of God and Savior...in whom I live, and breathe, and have my being! And where my hope is set!
Romans 9:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't, The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
