Adult Bible Fellowship

Did you know that Sunday School isn’t just for kids? We never grow too old to study and learn God’s word. In fact, the importance of understanding the Bible increases as we get older. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us, All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” We are equipped through God’s word to reach the lost and fulfill the call of the church. An understanding of the Bible through shared learning and instruction fosters spiritual growth, develops relationships, and strengthens the church.

We hope you will join us every Sunday at 9am for one of our Adult Bible Fellowship classes.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry (High School)

Social and cultural pressures are stronger than they have ever been. About ⅓ of teens identify as religiously unaffiliated. With the rise of competing philosophies and ideologies, young people need a firm understanding of God’s word and how to apply it. SOH Youth will help young people understand God’s word, develop Christ-centered relationships, and prepare them for adulthood. The youth of today are the church of tomorrow. We believe in equipping them to be the leaders of the future.

SOH Youth participate in multiple events throughout the year to train them in evangelism, serving the community, and the different areas of the church.

SOH Kids: Elementary

We believe in the mission of Proverbs 22:6. If they are to follow Jesus, children must be trained to worship, study God’s word, and follow His commandments. Along with discipleship, SOH Kids helps children develop listening skills, respect for others, and social skills. Children participate in fun age-appropriate programs that help shape them into future leaders. Nobody is too young to respond to the Gospel message. Children raised in Sunday School develop a foundation in God’s word and will be better equipped in all other areas of life.

How does check-in work? To maintain a safe and secure environment, all children must be checked in and checked out by their parents or guardians. Children cannot check themselves in or out.

Nursery & Preschool: Newborn to Age 4

How early should children be introduced to the importance of Sunday School? From birth, babies will develop social bonds with those around them. SOH Nursery and Preschool are the perfect opportunity to develop relationships with those their own age. By using age-appropriate learning the SOH Nursery and Preschool staff introduces children, toddlers, and preschool children to Jesus. The value of the Bible and the love Jesus has for them is taught through creative lessons, songs, and active learning. The nursery and preschool area provide a safe and fun environment for children to create good habits, develop relationships with other children, learn about Jesus, and allow parents to participate in adult activities.

How does check-in work? To maintain a safe and secure environment, all children must be checked in and checked out by their parent or guardian. Children cannot check themselves in or out.

Restoration Connection Ministries

The mission of Restoration Connection is to walk with people in love and equip them to live Christ-centered lives found in the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While we believe that salvation is through faith in Christ and Christ alone we understand that everyone’s knowledge and experience with Christ is unique. We hope to see one person, one family, and one community restored through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you are struggling with addiction, toxic relationships, life-controlling problems, or you just have questions about Jesus we want to invite you to join us every Wednesday night for dinner at 5:45 pm and service at 6:30 pm. We believe salvation is available for anyone willing to receive it and redemption is available for all.

Men's Ministry

Our culture has dismissed the importance of men in society, the workplace, and the family. But the calling God has for men is high. In Ephesians 5:23 God places the husband as the head of the family just as Christ is the head of the church. Godly men, husbands, and fathers are developed through discipleship and a firm foundation on God’s word.

At The Sanctuary of Hope, we desire to see men grow in their knowledge of God’s Word to be effective leaders in their homes, the church, and workplaces. Men need strong fellowship with like-minded believers to encourage and strengthen them as they press forward toward righteousness.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Women's Ministry

In the beginning, God designed women for a purpose, Our culture today struggles with defining a woman. Often the definitions are unhealthy, unrealistic, or downright untrue. Women have an important purpose in their homes, the church, and society. In 1 Timothy 5, Paul encourages fellowship between women. Why is this? Because God designed women for fellowship. So often the unrealistic ideals of our culture work to isolate women from one another.

Just as men have a high calling, so do women. Women are designed to be encouragers and nurturors. At The Sanctuary of Hope, we believe that women have an incredible purpose and we desire to see each woman pursue their purpose in Christ.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
